Get rid of cellulite – 5 simple steps to reduce cellulite you can start applying today

You can start taking these easy steps immediately to improve the visual appearance of your skin and at least prevent cellulite from getting worse. These steps are super-fast to apply and in most cases you don’t need to buy anything to start doing them. The flip side is, that they each provide some help but are not permanent methods in reducing cellulite. They are guaranteed to make you feel great about your body though!

1. Drink loads of water

Water helps reduce toxins, and when it comes to cellulite, we want to detoxify the body to allow it to shift it out. This will improve detoxification of fat from cells under the skin and will also help prevent more cellulite from forming. Of course drinking plenty of water daily will also help do other great things in your body, such as reducing the skin ageing signs, making your eyes look shinier and helping in general weight and fat reduction. That is of course if you eat clean also. Drink a minimum of 8 glasses of pure water daily, more if you are moving around, live in a hot place or if you simply feel like you need more.

2. Apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar mixed with water can help your body raise more Hydrochloric acid in the stomach which helps with digestion and detoxification. Our bodies have an ability to remove toxins, but if there are far too many toxins in the body they become stored as fat and away from organs. Hence why we tend to find more cellulite on the legs and glutes. Toxins also breakdown elastin and collagen, both of which are responsible for keeping the skin smooth and firm. Drinking just a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with a glass of water daily can help improve digestion and detoxification.

3. Get a massage

Getting a massage does two important things. It helps improve the lymphatic drainage and stretch the skin, but it also helps you de-stress. Stress is really bad for your overall body composition and weight gain, so while you relax on the massage table, the massage helps stretch out the cellulite dimples and provides better circulation to the specific body part that is getting massaged. This is not a method to get rid of cellulite, but a regular massages, especially if combined with a healthier diet and lifestyle, can help reduce it’s visual appearance and will certainly make you feel better.

4. Do some dry brushing

Dry brushing stimulates the body’s circulation and lymphatic systems. Massaging the lymph nodes helps the body shed excess water and toxins. One of the immediate effects of dry brushing is smoother skin. Our goal while doing it is to get rid of toxins and help the body get rid of excess fat. The increased blood flow to the skin will make it appear much smoother. Use a natural bristle brush and start from the bottom up. Brush towards the heart, either upwards or in circular motion. Be gentle enough not to damage your skin but firm enough to feel the brush doing its job.
